Prof. Dr. Manuela Bojadžijev, Supervisor

Manuela Bojadžijev is professor at the Institute for European Ethnology and Head of the Department “Integration, Social Networks and Cultural Lifestyles” in the Berlin Institute for empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM), both at Humboldt-University Berlin.

Prof.  Bojadžijev’s research focuses on migration in global perspective. She has contributed to conceptual, methodological and epistemological issues in migration research and her work has been published in top rated academic journals. She further researches contemporary processes of transformation of mobility and migration as well as racism, and interrogates these issues through a perspective on the digital and logistical transformations of labour and everyday life.
